Here is a little about the book:
Meet Patrick Cooper – desperately down on his luck, and head-over-heels in unrequited love with his best friend Bridget.
Meet Bridget’s sister, Emma Donovan – eternally single maker-of-cakes for many a happy couple, whilst never making it down the aisle herself.
Emma has four younger sisters, all of whom are married or getting married, and an Italian mother who can’t understand what is ‘wrong’ with her eldest daughter, who seems to be stranded on the shelf. Despairing of her own ability to find a suitable husband, Emma agrees to be part of a compatibility project to get married at first sight.
Meanwhile Cooper is struggling to get over his crush on Bridget and seems destined to stay firmly on the shelf too. Perhaps it’s time his fate was taken out of his hands…
Is happily-ever-after just about daring to take a chance, or do you need some extra magic to make love last?
Join Beth Moran, Cooper and the Donovan sisters on this life-affirming and uplifting tale of love, family, friendship, and risking it all for happiness.
Review
This is a wonderful family oriented rom-com that anyone with a large family can totally relate to. Light-hearted and fun, there is a little bit for everyone.
The story centers on Emma, the eldest of 5 girls, who is still unmarried and is wondering if she will ever find her happy-ever-after. Emma decides to sign up for a project that finds a compatible mate and has you get married immediately at first site. Of course the rest of the family is a bit concerned about her decision, and being from a big family with 4 other sisters, we are sure to hear all about them, their lives and their opinions. Then there is Cooper, who is in love with the youngest sister Bridget, who is soon to get married. Cooper has his own doubts that he will find his forever love as he is still hung up on Bridget, but he ends up signing up for the same compatibility project as well. What happens next is a ton of family drama and an ending you never expected.
This was a delightful read that made me wish I had sisters and a big family. It’s not just about romance, because most of it centered around the family, and we learn a lot about each sister and the issues they have in their own lives. This is a testament on how important it is to have family, no matter how much you may disagree, and to never be afraid to take a chance. A sweet read and another good one by Beth Moran.
Thank you so much to Beth Moran, Rachel Gilbey from Rachels Random Resources, Boldwood Books, and Netgalley for my gifted copy of this book for my honest and unbiased opinion.

Thanks for the review. I don’t usually read romances, but I love books with large families in them, so I’m tempted . . .
