When two lost souls meet by chance, their worlds collide in an explosive tale of romance and suspense.
Presley Ingram has often wondered about her birth parents. Yet her 23andMe test kit remains unopened in her bedside table drawer. When she finds an address on a torn envelope in her adoption file upon her adoptive mother’s death, she makes an impulsive decision to travel to the mountains of Virginia in search of answers. In the charming town of Hope Springs, she discovers her dream job as event planner at the prestigious Inn at Hope Springs Farms and the potential for romance with a ruggedly handsome bartender. Presley has an uncanny knack for reading people. While she suspects Everett has a genuine heart, she’s convinced he’s hiding something from his previous life.
Everett Baldwin is on the run from his past. He’s hiding out under an assumed name and working as a bartender while his dreams of becoming a country music star slip away. When opportunity knocks, Everett is forced to face his demons in order to move on with his life. Secrets are revealed and chaos ensues. Will Everett be able to salvage his relationship with the woman of his dreams?
Don’t miss this intriguing second installment of the Hope Springs Series.
My Thoughts
October can’t come quick enough.
SHOW ME THE WAY is the second installment in the Hope Spring Series by Ashley Farley. This book can be read as a stand alone, but I guarantee if you start with this one, you will want to go back to read the first book, hands down – no question.
If you’ve read the first installment, and have been patiently waiting for the second, you’ve only got one more week until publication and I promise you, there will be absolutely NO DISAPPOINTMENT. NONE. NADA. ZIP.
So let’s get into this.
Book 2 starts off just a few months after DREAM BIG STELLA! (Book 1), back at Hope Springs Farm. We have the return of all our beloved characters with the addition of 2 significant members: Presley and Everett, who take center stage in this installment.
After the death of her adoptive mother, Presley is following a lead to find her birth mother that lead her to Hope Springs. While staying at the Inn she meets Everett, a bartender who just moved to the area. There are immediate sparks between the two, and when Presley is offered a job at the Inn for a much needed position, she figures she has nothing to lose. But as her relationship with Everett progresses, she is convinced he is hiding something. Everett is hiding out at Hope Springs while attempting to harness his emotions after some shocking news. While he grows closer and closer to Presley he realizes he is going to have to reveal his past in order to get to the future.
Just when you think there is nothing Ashley Farley can do to make the Hope Springs Series any better, she releases SHOW ME THE WAY. The addition of our 2 new characters and the blending of their story line with the continuation of Stella’s narrative brings a delightful spin to this already captivating tale. Within the first few pages you instantly drawn in and completely absorbed in the story, and the book instantly becomes unputdownable. (I finished it in one sitting). The truth is you just can’t get through the book fast enough. Ashley Farley casts some type of bewitching spell on her readers every time she writes, and SHOW ME THE WAY is no exception. She is the truly a master of women’s fiction.
I am chomping at the bit for the 3rd and final installment of this series, MISTLETOE AND WEDDING BELLS which comes out on the 27 of October, and although I can’t wait to find out what happens next, I will be a wreck when the series comes to an end.
Ashley Farley has nailed it again. 5 stars.
