Ever just want one of those books you can just settle down and snuggle into? You know, one that pulls you in and completely immerses you in its little world? Well I have one for you right here.
Dream Big, Stella by Ashley Farley is the first of a new series she has created called The Hope Spring Series. Book 1 centers around Stella, a girl from NY who has grown up with 2 moms and a “sperm donor” for a dad. When a lawyer shows up at her door telling her she has inherited a $20 million dollar historic Inn from her newly deceased father, she is stunned. Pissed at her moms from keeping her fathers identity from her, recently fired from her job, and unable to just sell the inn outright as a stipulation of the inheritance, Stella decides to hop a train to Virginia to check out the Inn and try to find herself.
It doesn’t help that upon arriving at the property, it’s in a total state of disrepair and the 2 remaining employees are unhappy with her arrival. But the more she learns about her father and the fascinating family, the more she wants to know, so she stays on. As Stella attempts to find answers as well as repair the inn, she might just find a little more than herself along the way.
Another amazing family drama by Ashley Farley. She is already an auto buy author for me, but I can’t possibly say enough about Book 1 – Dream Big, Stella of het new series. Ashley’s writing has a cozy heartfelt way of surrounding you like a big blanket and engrosses you in the lives of everyone you are reading about. She makes you start to care and feel for these characters that are so well written they could be your friends or your own family. And family….. oh she nails it with the family drama, there is just one twist after the other with these people and you never know what she is going to throw at you next. Just in case you are worried, thats not all, she injects some of that classic Ashley Farley romance too. This book is a total winner for any type of reader. I am so excited for the next installment which is actually being published at the end of this month, so keep your eye out. Oh and Book 3 is coming out a month later.
This is an absolutely wonderful wholesome romance and family drama book. I highly recommend this one. A 5 star rating from me for sure!
