Review: Mysteries and Thrillers are probably my favorite genre, I love to read them, and jump at the chance when I can. I was given the opportunity to read I Want You Gone and of course I didn’t pass it up.
This one was a pretty fast paced thriller with a decent plot. It will definitely pull you in from the beginning, which is imperative when reading any type of thriller/mystery book. Unfortunately, it was very predictable for me and I was able to guess the plot and ending fairly quickly, but I still wanted to read on. (Normally when that happens, I have a hard time wanting to continue with the book). So, I would definitely call it a page turner.
The authors writing was decent, though not always the smoothest, but I would certainly give her another try if she publishes again. The main character could be a bit annoying, but that depends on your personal preference. I think I would have liked an epilogue to just wrap things up a little better at the ending, but overall, this one wasn’t bad.
